I'm Yannick, a travel photographer from Herent, Belgium. I studied graphic design, which is probably why I still care more about light and composition than about gear.

Since 2014 I've been photographing and writing for Soms Ook Heimwee, a Belgian travel blog that picked up a few Belgian Travel Blog Awards along the way. Most of what you see here comes from those trips: places that take a little effort to reach, early mornings, bad weather that turns good, and never the viewpoint everyone else is queueing for.
